• The overall fee for vaso-vasostomy is $7,500
inclusive of the surgery center and anesthesia charges. Routine
post op care and initial office semen analyses are included as
part of the package. Please note that we perform all procedures
at accredited full service surgery centers with board certified
anesthesiologists.
• The overall fee for epididymo-vasostomy
is $8,000 with the same provision as vaso-vasostomy. The $500
difference is to cover the higher operating room charge for this
procedure that typically requires 3-4 hours vs. 2-3 hours for
vasovasostomy.
• We do not charge for sperm retrieval at the time of reversal. A separate charge will be generated by and payable to the andrology lab which is typically $500-$750.
• Full payment must be made no later than 2 weeks prior to procedure in the forms of cashier's check, MasterCard or Visa. We accept personal check with the provision that bank clearance is required 2 weeks prior to procedure.
• Third party finance is available through
agreement with Reliance Finance at www.RelianceMedicalFinance.com
or by calling (800) 322-6377
• We do not offer any extended payment plan.
• A cancellation fee of $500 will be charged
if the request is made within two weeks of scheduled procedure
date.
• Insurance coverage and reimbursement: as
discussed in “Vasectomy Reversal 101”, insurance company
very infrequently covers for reversal. In the event that the procedure
is covered, payment policy is the same. We will assist you in
filing for the procedure with your insurance carrier but we will
not file on your behalf.
• We do not have a “money back guarantee”
provision for several reasons:
1. Overall cost: In order the practice to recoup the refund, revenue
needs to be generated from others. Our belief is that one should
only be liable for one’s own procedure at the lowest cost
possible without being surcharged for a marketing tool.
2. Money back provision typically applies only to the surgeon’s
fee and is pro rated based on the obstructive interval, procedure
performed, re-dos or not and others. It is then reimbursed as
a fraction of the overall cost.
3. The criterion for refund is patency, not pregnancy; in other
words, the presence of any sperm is considered as “success”
irrespective of the count and motility.
4. We believe in getting paid for a day’s work. Your procedure
will be performed expertly and despite our high success rate,
it is not 100%. One should not equate vasectomy reversal to turning
on a faucet after years of disuse. We are here to offer you the
best chance in restoring your fertility but like it or not, some
will be inevitably disappointed.
• All fees are subject to change without notice.
